CSM Robotics Junior VEX IQ Challenge

SM and Great Mills High School will be hosting the Southern Maryland VEX IQ Challenge on January 13, 2018 at the Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center in Leonardtown, MD. This competition is designed for elementary through middle school students.

This year’s competition is VEX IQ RINGMASTER.

All teams should register through Robotevents.  Teams in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's County schools should contact their STEM coordinator for questions about team registration.

The VEX IQ Challenge competition is affiliated with the VEX Robotics Competition (VRC). This partnership allows the winners of the tournament to represent Southern Maryland at the VEX IQ State Championship. From there, winners will advance to the VEX IQ World Championship.

Volunteer Requirements

While there will be a large number of CSM staff, faculty, and students volunteering for this event, we still need many more helpers to host this large event.  All teams are required to provide at least one volunteer for one of the CSM championship robotics events. Volunteers may sign up on the Volunteer Signup page. The access code is csmrobotics.
